The Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies (FTSR) of the University of Lausanne is an academic institution dedicated to research and teaching in religious sciences and theology. It constitutes a sort of multidisciplinary microcosm. The historian rubs shoulders with the anthropologist, the sociologist, the philosopher, the psychologist, the theologian. Text corpus specialists engage in dialogue with those who are more familiar with field surveys and social science methods. It offers two training courses: in religious sciences and in theology. From an interdisciplinary perspective, courses are given in collaboration with the Faculty of Letters and that of Social and Political Sciences. Minimer

The Faculty of Biology and Medicine (FBM) has three main missions: Teach Advance research Ensure succession, both academically and clinically Added to this is the desire to integrate into the City: the FBM wants to be an actor in society, by informing the public, fueling debate, and by stimulating dialogue. To carry out these missions, the FBM relies on several values: Freedom, as the only way to guarantee research that is truly at the service of people Creativity and innovation in both basic and clinical research, but also in the valorization of results, including negative ones Social responsibility, first towards the City, then towards the students, finally towards the collaborators Respect for diversity, especially gender, as society evolves and our profession becomes more feminine. The Faculty of Theology and Sciences of Religions of the University of Lausanne offers two study paths: Theology and Religious Studies. The first is organised jointly by the Universities Geneva and Lausanne, while the second adopts an interdisciplinary approach between the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lausanne. The main aim of studies is to develop precise and critical knowledge: Theology: relating to the basic texts of Christianity and the Christian tradition, as well as to different historical, philosophical, theological, and ethical currents and contemporary expressions of Christianity; Theology also includes a critical reflection on the practice of the various religious denominations or Churches. Sciences of Religions: the phenomenon of religion in general, major religious traditions in particular (Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, etc), as well as more marginal religious currents or other reconstructions. The methods employed are mainly those of social sciences as comparative history, anthropology, and sociology. Minimer

Geosciences and the environment The disciplines of geosciences and the environment are developing at the border between exact, experimental, and human sciences; they are in essence transdisciplinary. Geology is a natural science, geography is intended from the outset to be the interface of natural and human sciences, thanks to its two orientations, human and physical. In these frontier areas, the Faculty of Geosciences and the Environment is interested in the natural and/or anthropogenic modifications of our planet, and more particularly in the Alpine areas and urban metropolises. The consequences for humans, animal, and plant species are also part of his research fields. Such developments can only take place on the ground of fundamental disciplines which are maintained and developed at the highest level. The environment concerns all the disciplines of geosciences, ranging from problems of environmental philosophy to questions of ecotoxicology, including the analysis of natural risks. Minimer
